Expert Studio Rules and Tips

  1. If you don't have two cables, you don't have any cables. Always have a back up cable.
  2. Your computer/internet speed, and lighting is often more important than your camera.
  3. Remember Great Content > Flashy Gear
  4. Use rule of thirds, and avoid excessive headroom. Keep eyes around the top third of the frame.
  5. When using a camera, lock in ISO, shutter, and white balance to prevent flickering or color shifts mid-recording.

  6. Label ALL recordings with a clear name and a date. This will avoid files with names like "Final_FinalFinal_Draft2.mp4" in the future.
